Students may progress to the Master of Arts in Christian Counseling (MA), a program designed for those called to practice Christian counseling within pastoral ministry and para-church settings such as churches, Christian schools, and crisis pregnancy centers. This degree prepares students for Christian and vocational ministry, not for state license or state board examinations.
Admission to the Master of Arts in Christian Counseling requires a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies, Theological Studies, Theology, Christian Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work.

Doctor of Christian Counseling
If you have earned a Master of Science through an NCCA Degree and Licensing pathway and are ready to advance your education, Vision Reborn Institute International is prepared to support your next step. We specialize in advanced Christian counseling degrees, offering clear academic guidance and a structured pathway into doctoral-level study.
The Doctor of Christian Counseling (Ph.D.) program is designed to provide advanced, in-depth training in Christian counseling. Admission requires a master’s degree in Christian Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work. This program is focused on equipping students for Christian and vocational ministry, leadership, teaching, and advanced counseling within faith-based settings.
The Doctorate in Christian Counseling is not intended for state license or state board examination, but rather prepares graduates to serve effectively as Christian counselors within churches, ministries, and nonprofit organizations.
These doctoral courses are offered in a hybrid format—some are completed online, while others are delivered through printed course materials (books).
